Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester is a nonprofit group committed to meeting the literacy needs of the community. The organization was founded in 1973, and resides in the Worcester Public Library. We provide one-to-one English and basic literacy tutoring for adults. This is a group for anyone looking to improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing English in the evenings. We meet once or twice a week to attend lessons with people from all over the world. The teachers are learning to teach English and want as much practice as possible.
